Advisory Meeting 12/1/11
In advisory today we were asked what things we are thankful for in honor of thanksgiving. Then we were asked to pick the top three things we are thankful for. I am thankful for electricity, heat, and television. I am thankful for these things because I recently lost all three of those things when everyone in town lost power due to the October snow storm. During that four days without power I realize how much i enjoy heat and electricity to use the appliances in my house like television. I was very bored for four days sitting in my cold house with nothing to do.

Last Advisory Meeting
Last advisory meeting we decided on making a public service announcement. We then agreed on making a public service announcement for the school about proper hall etiquette. We decided for this to be the topic because of the amount of a inconsiderate students that walk through the halls everyday. There are times when some halls are completely filled with students and it is almost a struggle just to get to class. When fifty students try to filter into one area there seems to be a stalemate and students are forced to stand and wait patiently. What doesn't help is people who stand in the middle of the hall talking to their friends instead of proceeding to class. It's frustrating for the students who are trying to get to class. So we are going to create a public service announcement to help some students realize how they can properly walk through the halls.

Advisory
During our second advisory of the year we talked about what we could do during advisory throughout the school year. Our group consisting of Jon M, Jon J, and myself decided to create a public service announcement for the school or the community. Some of the topics of the PSA included drug abuse, texting and driving, obtaining your driver's license and walking in the school hallway's properly. We are not sure on what topic we are going to choose and we are open to suggestions on more topics. We are aiming on a topic that would be more informational to the community and not just South Hadley High School.
